Certified Personality Profiling


Coors Executive Resources utilizes personality profiling as part of the candidate screening process to assist in determining how a candidate will fit into an existing leadership team. This process is never meant to be used as criticism of an individual in any way. Rather, the report is used to help interpret and understand how an individual reacts in certain situations without the ability to observe them naturally. Comparing a candidate's report with reports from the established leadership team allows us to determine with reasonable certainty if the behavior styles are compatible.

CER utilizes the Personal Insights Profile, DISC combined with the Personal Interests, Attitudes and Values by Target Training International, Ltd. The Personal Insights Profile uses the Style Analysis Instrument and has been designed to help individuals achieve a greater degree of success in life and work. Behavioral research suggests that the most effective people are those who understand themselves, both their strengths and weaknesses, so they can develop strategies to meet the demands of their environment. The report will measure four dimensions of normal behavior:
  • D - How the individual responds to problems and challenges.
  • I - How the individual influences others to their point of view.
  • S - How the individual responds to the pace of the environment.
  • C - How the individual responds to rules and procedures set by others.
Cheryl Coors is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst (CPBA) with Target Training International. Cheryl administers and interprets the Personal Insights Profile DISC/PIAV. Cheryl also conducts leadership training utilizing the Personal Insights Profile for clients.

This service is part of our normal search process. Candidates for upper level executive searches are asked to complete the DISC personality assessment. This, in comparison with the assessments completed for the leadership team in place with our client, provides excellent insight into the fit of the candidate with a new organization. This service can also be provided outside of a normal search for personal or organizational assessment needs.
